JJ Green at Chatuchak

This market should be visited from Thursday to Sunday evening from 5 pm to 12 in the night. You will find interesting collectibles here, artwork, accessories, footwear, antiques, gadgets, posters, and some good booze to keep you going. The bars here often stay open after midnight on weekends. One of the best night shopping market in the City!

Get off the BTS at Mo Chit or the MRT at Chatuchak and walk through the Kamphaeng Phet Road. Keep looking for the Jatujak Green’ sign and that is it.

Asiatique: the riverfront market

This is rather a twin concept market with a mall and a night market together. The best part about this market is that it is great for family outing and has amenities like clean bathrooms, easy to locate stalls on a map, budget and upscale restaurants, two biggest entertainment shows. You will get good apparel, artifacts, accessories, jewellery etc. here. It starts at 5 pm and is on till 12 in the midnight at Chareonkrung Soi 74-76.

Rod Fai Market (Train Market)

This market is known for its size and variety. It is an open-air market that sells vintage collectibles and memorabilia, antique furniture, hippy fashion and Mao kitsch. Be it French chandeliers or vintage leather jackets, 1960s action figures or Cadillac from the 50s, they have it all here. It is on from Thursday to Sunday and starts at 5 pm till midnight. This place has amazing bars and offers excellent street food too. The market is located at Srinakarin Road Soi 51 (behind Seacon Square).

The New Rot Fai Market Ratchada

Another night shopping market is The New Rot Fai Market in Ratchada. If you want to get spoil for choice then this is the place to be from Thursday to Sunday starting at 5 pm till midnight. You will find good second-hand stuff here with some amazing food stalls, excellent music, bars, clothes, antiques, and a lot more. It is easy to access making it a frequented market among the locals. Remember to bargain here as you will be surprised to see the prices coming down substantially.

Where to stay in Bangkok

Though, Bangkok has many options to stay at but a few that beat the rest are Baiyoke Sky Hotel at Pathumwan, which offers a room for Rs 3961 and going a step further in luxury is Tower Club at Lebua at Bang Rak. It offers a room for Rs 12,447 a night.
