There are ample places to stay in Delhi ranging from posh hotels to the basic stay inns that are indeed a good option for a touchdown traveler.

We have listed out some great options that will not only suit your budget, but will also provide you with the flavours of Hindustani Dilli.

Places to stay at Central Delhi

Delhi has a lot to offer and one of the most buzzing places in Delhi is Central Delhi. It is home to attractions like The Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Hanuman Temple, Raj Ghat, Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, National Gandhi Museum, Mumtaz Mahal, Chawri Bazar, Lahori Gate, Kashmiri Gate, Khooni Darwaza, Diwan-e-khas, Diwan-e-Aam, Ajmal Khan Park. There are a lot of interesting eat outs and cafes here like the Farzi café, Tourist Janpath, Tamasha, Junglee Jamboree etc.

We advise you to stay at least a night at Central Delhi in one of the budget hotels to experience it.

Smyle Inn Hotel offers a room for $10 with breakfast. Stops Hostel is another popular option at Central Delhi, which offers a room for $13 per night with breakfast. Hotel Su Shree Continental gives a room for $11 per night.

Places to stay in South Delhi

South Delhi is divided into three subdivisions, Saket, Hauz Khas, and Mehrauli. All are prominent and people often throng Saket for mall shopping and Hauz Khas for its rustic eateries and pubbing. Places of tourist interest here are Garden of Five Senses, the very famous Qutab Minar, Chhatarpur Temple, Jamali Kamali mosque and tomb is here.

There are some good low-budget options here to explore. The Mad packers Hostel gives out a bed in a dormitory for $24 with breakfast. Meditation Palace costs $17 for a night per room. Indee Home and Mapple Express is for $20 per room for one night.

Places to stay in West Delhi

Delhi’s Western side is for lazy goers, who do not have much on their minds. Places to visit in West Delhi are District Park, Fun Villa, Mental Museum, Air Force Museum.

There are various options to choose from for lodging at West Delhi. Some of the popular ones are D’Presidente, which offers a room for $15, RK Residency offers a room for $13 for a night.

Places to stay at East Delhi and North Delhi

Popular places like Akshardham Temple, Sanjay Lake, Scope Minar are at East Delhi, while, Dilli Haat, Naini Lake, Delhi University Gardens, Northern Ridge lies in North Delhi.

Hotel Sonu Dx gives a room for $11 per night in North Delhi, Hotel Arjun in North Delhi costs $16 per room for a night, while Joey’s Hostel is for $14 per night for a bed in a dormitory.
